Big Vision, Ultimate Pool

The National Swimming Pool Foundation has published a blog by Desert Aire’s Keith Coursin, president, where he recaps the inspiration he received at the Ultimate Pool Conference hosted by Paddock Pool Equipment Company. Convened this past January in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Conference brought together over 120 leading pool industry designers, manufacturers, contractors, and users.

Keith’s dispatch, “The Vision of the Ultimate Pool,” recounts presentations made by coaches and swimmers where they urged industry professionals to take the lead in helping pool owners to make proper design and purchasing decisions. This is especially true when owners may be considering Value Engineering to cut costs.

The Ultimate Pool Conference included a visit to the NCAA-level competition swimming pool at Queens University of Charlotte. Local TV Station Fox 46 featured the pool and its Paddock Evacuator™ technology, a system for ensuring indoor air quality, in a post-Conference news segment.
